I had my first heckler! It was awesome. I have never felt more relevant in my life. Because honestly, if I’m not pissing someone off; I’m just participating in the status quo.

I don’t do that. What did I learn? I’m now going to start every reading with a cheeky disclaimer (thank you, Jello Biafra!).

I love that fact that I can be offensive when reading creative fiction about Toronto. If you stopped and listened to the world around you,  the things I write about are said by our youth population in the streets. I just condense it and put it all in one spot – I guess the truth hurts.
