Thank you to everyone who came out to the reading. You guys make writing worth it. Special thanks to the chick who laughed at “Private Property” and said: “Who doesn’t love boobs?”

My favorite moment of the reading  was when the entire place went silent during “In This House Without You.” It is a truly epic poem written about epic feelings. After all, with love, I know I have the power to do anything.

Until I can get some more stuff up on this site; and stop being sick, check out this disc I’ve been spinning by AMAZING TRANSPARENT MAN from the disc titled: PRINT IS DEAD.

The track is called IGC and has gamer references (sweet):

I had my first heckler! It was awesome. I have never felt more relevant in my life. Because honestly, if I’m not pissing someone off; I’m just participating in the status quo.

I don’t do that. What did I learn? I’m now going to start every reading with a cheeky disclaimer (thank you, Jello Biafra!). Read the rest of this entry »

I’ll be doing a live reading at the James Joyce Pub in the Annex on Sunday, September 27.

It is an open mic night for writers and artists. I’m thinking I’ll do a Ryan Quinn Poem, one of mine, and pull out piece of fiction from my novel. It should be a blast and if you let me know if  you came because you go to the website…I’ll have a gift for you!
