Osker is a Los Angeles band that lived from 1998-2002. It wasn’t a long career but they have some classic tunes. I’ve been trying to buy their records for months but every store says they have to order it in. I guess I’ll just order it myself.
Today, walking around the desolate streets of Kirkland Lake (for work) I had this song playing through my head…it’s weird how being away from the people you care about can affect your mental state.
You know, that weird period of time when the only notes you get in your inbox or on your phone is from some stupid company trying to sell you something? The moments when real people seem so far away? I love this song because it portrays that modern disconnect in such a real way.
